Stockton, CA (July 19^th, 2021) Stockton Host LIONS Club announced that their 100^th anniversary celebration will honor community volunteers.  The gala will be held at the Stockton Golf & Country Club on August 21^st, 2021 at 6pm.  The event will include dinner, keynote speaker and focus on honoring our community volunteers.  Tickets are available at:  www.stocktonhostlions.org

“Without volunteers our community suffers” said Blair Hake, President of Stockton Host LIONS Club.  “It’s the most vulnerable in our community that suffer the most when volunteerism declines.”

With over 100 years of making a positive impact in our community Stockton Host LIONS Club knows the value of volunteering.  We believe that our community volunteers are under-appreciated and too humble to shine a light on their own work.  So we designed an event to honor them.  Anyone can attend; just get a ticket, have an amazing night out with local community leaders and honor our community volunteers.

Hake said, “Our community thrives when volunteers are honored.”  He continued, “Volunteers are the backbone of what makes this community great”.

Stockton Host LIONS Club 100^th Anniversary Gala honors those silent and invisible community volunteers.  Hake adds, “Volunteerism is shrinking in our community and we intend to reverse this trend”.
